The Table Tennis Association of North District (TATAND) Veteran’s Team has just come back to the country from a very impressive performance at the 4th Minzhi Cup Sin-Meng International Table Tennis Tournament held in Macau, China from May 10-11, 2008.

The team standout, Michel Dalumpines proved his mettle against the strong field of seasoned players and won Second Runner– Up in the Mens Singles Event.

In the team event, the high-spirited TATAND team beat the Hong Kong Team in close competition to enter the quarter finals and finally settling to 6th place over-all. This standing is already a feat in itself considering that this tournament drew a total of 50 teams, comprising of 258 players from 9 countries.
